The latest five first-timers are all former PGA TOUR champions.

Tway, 50, is an eight-time PGA TOUR champion, including the 1986 PGA Championship. He debuted on the Champions Tour at last year’s Regions Charity Classic and went on to play in nine events, with a runner-up finish at the Administaff Small Business Classic.

Frost, 50, also debuted on the Champions Tour in 2009 after becoming eligible in September. He competed in five tournaments, and finished runner-up at the SAS Championship in his second start. Frost has won 10 PGA TOUR events in his career.

Browne, 50, was a Champions Tour rookie in 2009 and played in 13 tournaments. The three-time PGA TOUR champion had four top-10 finishes during his rookie campaign. He won on the PGA TOUR as recent as 2005 at the Deutsche Bank Championship.

Cochran, 51, was the 2009 Champions Tour Rookie of the Year after finishing runner-up twice and carding seven top-10 finishes. He won the 1991 Centel Western Open on the PGA TOUR.

Blackmar, 52, is in his third full season on the Champions Tour. He broke through at the AT&T Championship and won his first trophy on the over-50 circuit, after three wins during his PGA TOUR days. Fans won’t have to look too hard to pick out Blackmar, standing at 6’7”, he towers above most of his fellow golfers.
