“We are very excited about this initial player announcement,” said Tournament Director Jason Camp. “Loren has a record of success in Naples and John is coming off a tremendous finish to his 2009 campaign. We are also thrilled to hear Paul Azinger plans to make his Champions Tour debut here, and hope that fans will help welcome him. Fans should get their tickets now through some of the great offers we have available.”

Roberts won the 2009 ACE Group Classic with a birdie on the final hole of the tournament. He parlayed that win with a tremendous second half season finish that included two more victories to win the season-long Charles Schwab Cup. Roberts has consistently been one of the top performers on the Champions Tour since joining in 2005. He has won 11 tournaments, including the 2006 ACE Group Classic, where he became the first player to begin the year with three wins in three starts. Roberts also won the Charles Schwab Cup in 2007.

If there was an award for second half player of the year, Cook would be at the top of the list. Using two victories in the final month of the season, including the year-end Charles Schwab Cup Championship, he charged up the Charles Schwab Cup standings and finished second to Roberts. Cook finished in the top-five in his last four starts. He will look to translate that success into 2010 and maintain a full year of consistency.

Azinger, who turns 50 on January 6, recently gave a verbal commitment to the tournament, a welcome surprise to tournament officials and fans. Azinger captured American hearts in 2008 when he captained the United States Ryder Cup team to its first victory since 1999. In addition, many know his voice and commentary from ABC and Golf Channel telecasts. The 12-time PGA TOUR champion, and winner of the 1993 PGA Championship, has competed in a limited schedule the past three years after being hampered by a back injury.
